As for the Unusual Event, well  . . . all I can say is . . . eat your
heart out! hehe.

As well as L.J. Roberts's regular book review column, I'm
thrilled to announce a new column, 'A Blast from the Past'
by Romance author and 1st Turning Point host, Jacquie Rogers.
Welcome Jacquie.

Thank you to all Calamity's Corner members for your continued support. I'd love to hear from you during the year and if you'd like your b'day included in the greetings
just let me know the month.

New friends are very welcome. SUBSCRIBE calam@live.com.au

Guest Blogging, what a thrill

L.J. Roberts, the most prolific reader I know and renowned book reviewer asked me: What Do Aussie Readers Read? With the help of some Aussie readers, I came up with quite a selection.  http://booksaremagic.blogspot.com/

January's Calamity's Corner

In our first Calamity's Corner for 2011 our Author of the Month is romantic fantasy writer Marsha A Moore who enlightens us about the pirate festival in Tampa, Florida.
Australian author Margaret Tanner shares a very special experience in Las Vegas, Nevada.

I'm thrilled that LJ Roberts will continue with her wonderful book review column this year. You'll  marvel at her big, bold, beautiful pets this month.
We have Alma from Ohio and Gabriela from Sydney to thank for the movie reviews.

I look forward to any contribution that you might like to make this year and I think it's time to call Calamity's Corner an e-magazine rather than a newsletter. What do you think?

My article is up at 1st Turning Point. It's about accepting opportunity when it knocks.

Very best wishes to you and your family for a healthy, happy and prosperous 2011.
