My Imagination is working.

I finished the new website,  My Imagination. It has a slide show on  the home page with photos of Central Switzerland, Wilhelm Tell country, which are pertinent to my novel. I love the banner picture of the Schächen River near Bürglen, in the Uri canton. There are new poems and pictures and I'll add a short story or two as free reads. Calamity's Corner has a page, too where I'll announce the  star attractions, for the upcomng month. Readers can subscribe from there. http://wendylaharnar.weebly.com/

I'm Happy Now

At last I have a new website and it has everything I need to play with. Called 'My Imagination', it is still under construction. Although the Home page is blank, the [writing] Tips, Books, About, and Short Story pages do have text and some pictures on them. http://wendylaharnar.weebly.com/   This will be a fun project for me and probably a slow one.

Website disappointment

Having seen two of my friends websites which they set up as a free account, I thought I'd go with their supplier because their sites were quite impressive as far as I was concerned. All worked beautifully and I was very happy, but suddenly a huge flashing add told me I was a winner of something. The flashing became permanent and distracted me. So intrusive I had no desire to work on the contents of my new site.

I asked my friends how they avoided the adds. They both said they had not encountered this problem. Their sites were add free. After a day or so, I couldn't stand the flashing anymore, so I just deleted the site. It feels sad. It's a why me? situation. :)

March Calamity's Corner.

Thanks to all of the contibutors, I'm really happy with this issue of Calamity's Corner.
Multi published, American writer, Kim Smith is our March author of the month. From Romance and Mysteries to Fantasy, Kim has mastered them all.
I show you around Sydney Cove and LJ Roberts and Jacquie Rogers present their fascinating & informative regular columns. Fellow MuseItUp author, Rosalie Skinner, provides the answers to her Valentine's Day quiz and Sheryl reviews the movie  'Unknown'.

All I can say about the Pet of the Month is, 'A picture paints a thousand words', hehehe and you'll be very impressed with what you find from the Groper's shelf. Edith, Alma and Deborah are to be commended. :) In Something Unusual you'll find something especially for Ferrari lovers, thanks Bob Turnbull. It's best if you turn  the sound up, full blast.
Anyone who isn't already a member of Calamity's Corner is welcome to subscribe to calam@live.com.au  we'd love to include you, whether you are a writer, a reader, a movie buff, pet lover or traveller. There is something for everyone.
