Good morning Wendy... what a glorious day for a party.
The garden looks fantastic. :)

Wendy said...

Happy Release Day. The gates stand wide in welcome. Congratulations Rosalie - your 27th has already begun. Congratulations to the northern hemisphere MuseItUp authors whose day begins in a few more hours.

This is an extended Happy Book Launch Party.

Grab a plate, here's your glass, trip over the chubby blur elephant and stike up the band. Let the party begin.

Rosalie Skinner said...

Thanks Wendy... I am really excited to be here. I have waited many years to see INVADED released to readers.
I hope readers, the patient and the not so patient, feel it has been worth the wait.
So far, rumblings seem to indicate the story meets expectation. :)

Margo said...

Everything looks wonderful! Won-tons, anyone? Todd is actually passing the tray!

Wendy said...

Hi Margo and Todd. Congratulations. Here's a glass of bubbly, mind, it's hot. Does troubloe follow Todd. How exciting. I hope he finds some here in the crazy garden. He will if he ventures behind the hedge. So, be warned Todd . Hugs

Wendy said...

Oh yes, the Wons Tons look fabulous.

Rosalie, that's so good to hear your book already has expectant readers

Rosalie Skinner said...

Hi Todd, Thanks.. I will try a won-ton.
Hi Margo.. congratulations.
What will you have to drink?
I am still on tea...the sun isn't over the yard arm yet.. and I need to pace myself. :)

Breezy-E said...

Party?

Rosalie Skinner said...

Hi Breezy... it's just getting started.. What can I offer you?
Margo's won-tons are yummy.
Will you have champus?

Breezy-E said...

Maybe. If I knew what it was. Anyone want some plum puffs?

Rosalie Skinner said...

Breezy, you have been here before, so I guess you know Wendy, so I will introduce Margo and Todd from ISLAND DANGER. Todd is likely to get into trouble... even here in Wendy's relatively safe garden.. so keep an eye on him.

Rosalie Skinner said...

Plum puffs.. sounds good. I will take one.
Did you see the chubby blue elephant.. just what he doesn't steal them.

Breezy-E said...

You should know that the safest places aren't. "Nothing is idiot-proof to a sufficiently talented idiot." Well, nothing is danger-proof to a sufficiently accident-prone person.

Breezy-E said...

I did see him. Is he still a baby? He's cute. =)

Rosalie Skinner said...

Margo, what sort of won-tons are these? Did I taste prawn and spring onion?

Rosalie Skinner said...

He's very cute.. until he sits in the cheesecake.. or leaves footprints in the jello.

Wendy said...

Hi Breezy, you are an enigma but I like your sentiment. Have a kangarro steak and do not drink the water! 'talented idiot' eh. haha. I'm making guesses. Only one person calls himself that.

Breezy-E said...

Why thank you. Food is amazing. Care for some tea? It's rosehip and apple, heated with dragonfire. It really changes the flavor. Almost magical.

Rosalie Skinner said...

I will take some of that.
Have the dragons arrived? :)
Magical.. is just what the wizard ordered! Thanks

Wendy said...

Breezy E you fooled me. You own a little dragon sent as a gift from northern NSW is that right?
You travel in search of a special ring or stone but this is not found in Rio.

Wendy said...

Margo these won tons are fabulous. They must be sprinkled with fairy dust.

Killarney said...

Happy release day Rosalie! XOX

Rosalie Skinner said...

Wrong dragon, :( Wendy.. Breezy E hales from way back when I used to hang at Writing.com. She helped critique the Chronicles... hmm. Many years ago.

Rosalie Skinner said...

Hi Killarney,
Welcome...
You didn't bring tornadoes with you? We really aren't prepared for twisters, though we can cope with dragons, elephants and people disappearing through the Glimmer.
What can I offer you?
Champus?

Wendy said...

Oh good for you Breezy. Lovely to see you here.
Hey Killarney, did you bring your Highway Robber? Have a huge slice of pavlova- it's meringue and strawberries cream - all fat free, and allergy free on cyber space.
Did you notice Margo is here already too? I raise my glass to her on her special day

Rosalie Skinner said...

Yeah.. don't have to worry about allergies, weight, or hangovers. Love cyber parties.

Margo said...

Thanks! I'm glad Todd didn't sneak too many. I'm keeping an eye on him; he's the kid -er -- young man in the surf t-shirt and shorts. Maybe his girlfriend Melia may stop by to say aloha

Margo said...

Happy release day to you, Rosalie! Welcome Breezy and Killarney!

Killarney said...

Actually I brought my new Hero with me from my recently released steampunk. His name is Weston, he's a little stuffy but he'll warm up. (: A glass of wine would be lovely!

Rosalie Skinner said...

Weston, Welcome...
Wine.. red or white?

Breezy-E said...

I love WDC, but I never manage to get back really... Now that I'm "out in real life" I never have time to be regular on it.

Breezy-E said...

Blueberry wine?

Rosalie Skinner said...

Blueberry... just hold on.. *drops a little fairy dust in the red wine*
Here you go.. blueberry wine. :)
Yeah.. I never get back to Writing.com. It was great though, as a place to make friends, get critiques and learn lots.

Killarney said...

Mmm, red is my favorite, but stuffy old English Weston probably wants red. Did you know he has little sense of humor? Sad really.
See? What did I tell you, now he's pouting.

Killarney said...

Opps, I meant Weston probably wants white...good looking heros are so distracting sometimes. (:

MuseItUp Publishing said...

I'll take anything that can knock me out a week or two. LOL

And there are 9 releases so anything after Twin Souls were slightly delayed. :(

So what's good in your part of the world to knock someone off their toes? I mean...Caleath can do that, naturally. :)

Rosalie Skinner said...

Maybe he will like the Chelsea bun with some tea. He looks the type. hehe.

Todd, is he supposed to be drinking the punch Margo?
Not that I mind... but I think Cubby Bubby Elephant tipped a bottle of vodka in it a while ago. As baby blue elephants do when you aren't watching.

Wendy said...

Here's some Aussie red. Actually called RED from Rutherglen. One of my favourites. I think this should loosen Weston up, Killarney.

I think I might have had a little too much already. My spellling/typos are so bad

Rosalie Skinner said...

Hi Lea,
Well... I think Cal has some Kentorian Green... if you look beyond the hedge.
Or.. we have plenty of 'forbidden fruit'...
And the punch is now well laced.

Killarney said...

You might be right Wendy. You know, for a stuff englishman he did turn out to be a pretty brilliant inventor, or so the heroine Alexandra tells me. (of course if we forget massaging his ego for a minute she is the brilliant one).

Wendy said...

Hi Lea, yes I know, jumped the gun a bit hehehe. Pre-orders are the go! Here's some of my hubby's plum brandy (very old-made by his uncle in Slovenia) some of that is sure to deaden any pain and let you sleep for a week.
Wouldn't advise you to eat the 'forbidden fruit' that leads to toothache ;)

Margo said...

Oh, Rosalie, thanks for spotting that rascal! You're so right about his being underage! I hope Melia comes by soon; he'll behave just to impress her! The won-ton are actually (blush!) ground beef and minced onion with shoyu -- I mean, soy sauce!

Rosalie Skinner said...

Plum brandy.. where have you been hiding that Wendy?
Just remember to check for a sleeping Lea, before you close the garden in a day or two. hmm.

Imagine the emails you will miss, Lea... Enjoy!!

Killarney said...

I believe Alexandra, or Alex as everyone calls her will be dropping by later to share some banock she learned how to make when she was Who-na-nay's captive slave. Yummy!

J.Q. Rose said...

Congratulations on the new releases...I just dropped in to see the magic garden and get acquainted. Such a delightful group of folks here, but not crazy about meeting anyone in the horror stories..Ha! What an exciting time--release day--and a party to celebrate too!! Thanks Wendy for the fun!

Wendy said...

There's plenty of white wine to choose from too.
Killarney can we play some of Gowen's music in our head, do you think.
Oh chubby, you are twisting all the maypole ribbons. Stop that.

Killarney said...

Oh dear. Now Lord Weston Grendal is glaring at me. He really hates it when I mention Who-na-nay and A-jin-ay. Rosalie could you talk Caldeath into distracting him?

Killarney said...

Ah yes, I have just the song. (: As you know, besides Gowan I have the only digital copy of 'Love Makes You Believe'. Did I mention another up and coming musician friend of mine wrote me a song for a scifi/romance I am working on? It's lovely.

Rosalie Skinner said...

I will see what I can do.
Perhaps he can share a smoke. hmm. That should loosen even Weston up.
:)
Definitely not for Todd or Melia though.

Wendy said...

Hi Janet,
I don't think the horror authors are here today. All very civilized so far. Lovely you droped in. Hope you will stay awhile. Have a handful of snickerdoodles and risk a sip of Caleath's Kentorian Green, if you dare.

Rosalie Skinner said...

Janet.. it's full sunshine here. No scary monsters allowed... yet. Thank goodness.

Wendy said...

Killarney, I hear you singing those songs in my head. I'm transferring them, telapathically to everyone else. hehehe.

Margo can I borrow Todd's surf board please. I see the magical waves have appeared. Doesn't matter that it's winter here and I'm still in pjs and ugg boots

Rosalie Skinner said...

The music your friend wrote for your book trailer is awesome Killarney. Suits a romance perfectly. You are very lucky.

Killarney said...

Oh oh, Rosalie I think we have a situation over by the punch bowl. Then again just how naked is Caldeath and a stuff englishman going to get?

Killarney said...

Shame on you Wendy, I said loosen him up, not spike the punch and get him drunk! It's a little early for that yet i'd say.

Rosalie Skinner said...

Had to laugh... Yesterday Steve bumped into a shark. The visibility was pretty awful and the shark hit him with its tail.
They go off like a whip crack. Apparently they can break an arm. He didn't get hurt.

He was leading a dive, turned to check on his divers, when he turned back... he bumped into a shark.\

Careful in the water Wendy!!

Rosalie Skinner said...

Hmm.. I am sure Cal can handle the situation, I would worry about Weston. hmm.
Looks like he's fallen asleep beside Chubby Bubby.

Breezy-E said...

Say, are Gwilt and his wolf around?

Killarney said...

Yes, Weston can't handle booze very well. Alexandra got him flaming drunk once before. He spilled his guts and blew the whole conspiracy right out of the water. He'd never make a good spy I'm afraid. Tsk, tsk, tsk. I love Gwilt and his wolf, are they coming?

Emma Eden Ramos said...

Congrats to everyone! Cyber applause for my fellow musers:)

Wendy said...

I didn't do that Killarney. You Byron spiked the punch. He's the one who knows how to get drunk (before his wedding in Stand and Deliver Your Heart, remember!)

Killarney said...

Oh no! Don't tell me Byron is lurking here somewhere. You know what happens when you get a bunch of incredably handsome 1800s gentleman together in the same room. A duel is bound to happen.

Wendy said...

Hey Emma, Lovely to see you! Hugs. Here's a long glass of punch, with fairy dust sprinkled on the top. That should help protect you if you stray behind the hedge. The bbq is in full swing. Grab a plate of king prawns/shrimp and lamb chops.

Rosalie Skinner said...

I thought I saw the wolf a while ago.
Gwilt is probably looking after the BBQ... he's quite handy as a cook.

Wendy said...

Oh yes, Byron's here. If he attempts to leave I WILL lock the gate hehehe.

Breezy-E said...

Yes, but who or what would they be dueling for? As delicious as these raspberry tarts are, it would be a little silly to have a duel for the last one or something.

Margo said...

Wendy, you can definitely borrow Todd's board; you'll just need a pass to get on the Marine base to the awesome surfing spot! Rosalie, you're so right; we've got to keep Todd and Melia away from the punch. Melia's here, now, and Todd's finally thinking before he's acting -- something about impressing the girls, I think.

Rosalie Skinner said...

Hi Emma,
Caleath is here somewhere, he was leading Weston astray, but he should be in a good mood.

Emma Eden Ramos said...

Thank you:) Sounds delish! There's a storm here in NYC. That fairy dust is bound to come in handy.

Cheryl said...

What a great variety of releases! Ready for the bubbly!Except it's bedtime here, darn it.

Killarney said...

Oh dear. Rosalie, I think we are going to need Caldeath's services to control the tetosterone in the room. I see Cohen from Guilty Kisses, Byron from Stand & Deliver Your Heart, Dimitry from The Horseguard's Lady with of course his sweet cousin Victor and Levin from A Courtesan's Desires sneaking in the back door. SIGH. I knew I shouldn't have turned them loose to their own devices for the night. Sorry Wendy, I do hope they don't trash such a lovely blog.

Wendy said...

The surf looks great. The funny thing about Steve's incident with the shark...that was not fictional. That was true and I guess quite scary. Now there is something to really worry Janet.

Rosalie Skinner said...

Hi Cheryl,
A little champus and forbidden fruit should help with some great dreams.. and after meeting Killarney's handsome characters.. well.. do dreams get ratings?

Emma Eden Ramos said...

Rosalie,

My future husband (Caleath, of course) must come for a visit. I think he'd like The Big Apple.
Congrats on Invaded!!

Killarney said...

Depends on the kind of dreams Rosalie (;

Rosalie Skinner said...

Yeah.. one of his tall tales and true from his diving day job,

Only Steve wasn't scared Wendy. Shocked.. but I don't know how he remains so calm.

He didn't capture the incident on his camera, cause the vis was so bad. Hmm. :(

Wendy said...

Helloooooooo Cheryl. Congratulations to you on your new release. Here's the bubbly and you can have a couple of lamingtons and some plum puffs. All cyber food that won't keep you awake. Don't worry this is just the beginning. We will still be here when your release day begins for real. The pparty will be here for YOU!

Killarney said...

Will the wolf bite if I try to pet him Rosalie? I've always wanted to pet one.

Rosalie Skinner said...

Emma, have you told him? hmm. I think he's still pining after Nasith.. but you are welcome to cheer him up! :)

Margo said...

Welcome, Wendy, and congratulations!

Margo said...

Welcome, Cheryl, and congrats on the release! Aloha!

Rosalie Skinner said...

The wolf bite? Yeah. Still...ask Gwilt. If he is there you should be ok.

Cheryl, is your Cal here. Hmm. Did I see the sparkle of diamonds?

Wendy said...

Killarney, the more the merrier. You characters will be fine here. If they misbehave Cubby can tread on them :) lightly. He has such a small elephant paw.

Killarney said...

Good to know Wendy. If things get really out of hand Alex invented this nifty little mind control helmet in Inventing Love that we can use to tame these wild beasts LOL!

Wendy said...

Margo, this cyber surf is great. Anyone coming in. We can always use Cheryl's boat from her Man in a Boat, if we get into difficulties.

Killarney said...

Rosalie, I think I'm alergic to the wolf. I'm sneezing and my nose is suddenly runny. *ACHOO! His coat was so soft and silky I couldn't resist petting him. I am allergic to dogs but I was hoping not wolves. SIGH.

Wendy said...

a mind control helmet. I want one of those, Killarney and some of Breezy's blueberry wine, please.

Who is eating? I wish Barbara E was here. She bakes the best cookies.

Rosalie Skinner said...

Wendy is Billy (the no longer as Bonsai as he was...bull) supposed to be eating the hedge?
Should Chubby Bubby be leaving through the gap?

Rosalie Skinner said...

Hmm.. Allergic to dogs.. it's not so surprising Killarney. Still.. I wouldn't accept the little red pills from the old wizard.. if he offers them as a cure. I think he's still asleep, so not to worry.

Killarney said...

It works surprisingly well Wendy. Do you want to try it on the elephant or the...um bull?

Rosalie Skinner said...

A mind control helmet could be useful for the sybil if she turns up. No snickerdoodles baked yet.. so she's not been around.
Is Stefan here? Was he chatting with Gwilt earlier?

Rosalie Skinner said...

Just collected four 'dragon' eggs... Good little feathery brown dragons. They look remarkably like hens. Funny how the fairy dust effects vision. :)

Killarney said...

Who's Stefan?

Wendy said...

Killarney---who is Stefan? Hellooo. He's my modern Swiss youth who goes back to 1307 to try to prevent the Wilhelm Tell legend from happening. He encounters a shapeshifting sibyl who tries to disguise the bat faeces smell in her hair with cinnamon sticks. He is also chased by an evil knight who wants to kill him before he reveals a the knight's secret.

Stefan is 18 and is influenced by Caleath. I think he is talking to Todd over there who is showing him how to surf.

Wendy said...

btw, thanks heaps for asking :)

Billy the Bonsai Bull doesn't need the helmet he found his love in Milly his 'one in a million'.

Killarney said...

Wow! He sounds like quite the adventurer!

Wendy said...

Stefan could use the helmet. He is so smitten by the sibyl who looks like his unrequited love, Ursula, he can't see Heidi who really loves him.

Killarney said...

Well, I would love to stay longer everyone but it is 8pm here, which means it is time for my bath and cup of tea before bed. Thank God I see Cassie, Sarah, Rose, Rachel and Alex coming to re claim their menfolk! Don't think I'd be able to drag them away on my own you know.

Rosalie Skinner said...

While we try to console those left behind without their company. :P
Been great having you drop in, Killarney. Thanks for bringing your characters with you.

Please leave the helmet!! It could be useful before the night/day is over.

Tell Alex we will return it in good order... in a day or two.

Heather said...

Thank you so much for hosting this party, Wendy! I'm so excited about the release of Love and Consequences. I've emailed Wendy the cover art so that it may be added to this post.

I brought fruit with chocolate for dipping! Make sure you try the blackberries. They're my favorite.

Wendy said...

Sleep tight Killarney. We'll still be here tomorrow. Thank you soooooo much for stopping by. Take a few plum puffs to have with your cuppa. xx

Wendy said...

Hi Heather, Congratulations on your Upcoming release!!!!!!! I'm off to add your cover pic so will probably be gone for a bit.

Rosalie Skinner said...

Hi Heather,
You are welcome. Did you bring Kalia and Sophia?
Blackberries dipped in chocolate... it doesn't get any better than this!!

Killarney said...

Alex said she'd be glad to leave the helmet, Rosalie. Oh and she said she enjoyed getting to meet you Wendy. She said she loves to meet like minded women who are tough enough to stand up for what they believe in. She extended an offer to introduce you to Who-na-nay and A-jin-ay when you have time. They helped her re- Invent Love you know. (; Good night all.

Wendy said...

Heather, the picture won't open properly. There's just the two heads and a grey block without title or author name.

Unknown said...

What a fantastic party! I'll take a few wontons and be on my way. Congratulations everyone!

Fruit and chocolate... Mmm. Think I'll have a little before bed myself. It's after 10pm for me, got work tomorrow. Good night all. It's been a lovely party. =)

Rosalie Skinner said...

Hi Amy... Won-tons are yummy. There are some left.
There are also lamingtons and pavlova if you want to take some with you... you are welcome to stay though..

BreezyE.. yeah.. the blackberries dipped in choc are better than good.

Love blackberries. Hate collecting them.

Wendy said...

Hi Amy! Thanks for coming. Won tons, snickerdoodles, plum puffs, pavlova anything your heart desires. Take a couple of plates home with you. And come back tomorrow, ya here. :)

Wendy said...

Night Breezy, I was wonderful you could be here to celebrate with Rosalie on her big day. Thanks for bringing your plum puffs. I love those.

Unknown said...

Hi everyone. Thank you so much Wendy for opening your blog for our release party. Congratulations to all the authors with new releases. Cheryl...all the queries we worked on together - I'm so happy we are sharing a release day together now. Congrats to you!!

Michelle
"Concilium"

Rosalie Skinner said...

Hi Michelle,
Congratulations on the release of Concilium.
Can I get you a glass of champagne!

I hope the Cruor Imbibo stay outside the hedge.
Should we be worried?

Wendy said...

Hi Michelle, Hugs,
Here's a glass of, magically, the exact drink you favour most. Cheers to you and congratulations on your big day. Come across the lawn to the big tables and take your fill. The 'forbidden fruit' (Lea's cheesecake) is under the cloth just behind the hedge. The characters are still here while their authors doze -some in deck chair along the beach others under the magical trees. Pat Rosalie's wold. Killarney did without side affects although she did sneeze a lot.

Unknown said...

Hello everyone! Sorry late to the party. I hate when other things are more demanding and I end up running late. My characters seem to have vanished...before I was ready. Anyone see them here? Jairo and Joy...? I told them they would be able to come and have fun, either they didn't hear me or they left me behind. Jario's not a fan of being late...and I am late. :)

Congrats Rosalie and everyone else! I've read the blurbs and am starting a new 'read' list...I start one every month and add to it crossing off the ones I've gotten and keep adding what's left to the next list! I haven't caught up as of yet. LOL

Unknown said...

Thank you. No need to worry about the Crour Imbiob. Champagne keeps them away. :) So does cheesecake...I'm sizing up my chances of snagging a piece while Lea isn't looking.

Rosalie Skinner said...

Hi Alix,
I think Jay and Joy took a look around, tried the punch and headed through the hole in the hedge Chubby Bubby and Billy made. Take some champagne if you head that way yourself.

Wendy said...

Great to see you here Alix. Not late at all. We are early. Congratulations on you release day!! Jay is giving Joy some breathing space. She's worried she is still dreaming and needs time to come to terms with reality.

The bbq is hot. Huge T-bone steaks all juicy and full of flavour are waiting for you. Don't tell my Billy the Bonsai Bull, though. I told him cattle are raised to parade in the parade ring. He would die if he knew we ate them.

Wendy said...

Michelle I think you should let loose your Crour Imbiob. We don't mind a little bit of drama.

Unknown said...

LOL - the Imbibo and I are off to bed. The kids will be up with the sun tomorrow. But I wanted to have a glass of bubbly with everyone before I called it a night. I will check back in the morning.

Save some cheesecake. :)

Rosalie Skinner said...

Will do Michelle... will see you tomorrow! Congratulations again.

Wendy said...

Night Michelle!

Unknown said...

Steaks and champange...and cheesecake for dessert...Lea is letting us have the cheesecake, right? *smile*

I should've known those two would hightail it out without me. *sigh* I think they are as excited as I am. As long as they're behaved, I'll leave them alone to mingle. :)

Wendy said...

Lea doesn't know about the cheesecake I pinched. shhhh. There are some wet noodles too if you want to add them to your plate Alix. Your characters are free to mingle. Caleath and Todd are keeping them in check. :)

Margo said...

Alix and Michelle, welcome to the party and congratulations on the releases! It's time for bed and I have to make sure Toss and Melia get home safely over the Pali. See you all tomorrow -- anyone up for fried rice for breakfast?

Rosalie Skinner said...

Fried rice sounds good. Perhaps take Todd.. rather than Toss.. the fairy dust.. it doesn't help with the remembering of names. :)

Wendy said...

Fried rice sounds great will go well with the chicken kababs. Can't wait Margo.

Lisa said...

Happy Release Day!!

I can't wait to read the fifth book, totally new and unseen... Woohoo!

Rosalie Skinner said...

Hi Lisa,
It's exciting. :) What will you have? The punch is well spiked.
hic.
I think I should fire up the bbq.

Wendy said...

Welcome Lisa, I've been holding me breath till you arrived :) When you finish with the bbq how about some choc cream sponge or some baklava. It's wonderful to be able to share in Rosalie and the Muse authors' big day.

Unknown said...

Yay! Safely eating cheesecake is always a good thing. :) Oh and the wet noodles too. *grin* I'll make sure to come back for fried rice as well.

And keeping characters in check is also a very good thing. The last time I let them out to play one of them disappeared...for a long while. *laugh*

Eventually have to call it a night so Ican come back bright and early on my Friday. :)

Thanks for inviting me, Wendy. Awesome party and I shall be back!

Mary Andrews said...

Hello? Oh, I'm finally here. Is that steak I smell?

Lisa said...

Yay! Party!

I'm glad to have made it Wendy.. I think I'll make a start with some cyber-cider though or you will have to roll me out of here!

Rosalie Skinner said...

Hi Mary, welcome.
The steaks are just about done.
Help yourself to drinks.

Lisa, cyber cider... let me fill your glass.

Mary, Are your black ops psi team here?

Mary Andrews said...

I'm not sure. I told them to meet me here but they may have been shining me on about showing.

Rael did send on of his Archangels with me since last time I tried to catch a party here, there were growling things in the bushes. I left Michael in the garden. He's always so serious though.

Mary Andrews said...

Oh well, even if he only stands guard out there, he'll at least be beautiful to look at and if you need anyone to break up scuffles....

Rosalie Skinner said...

Cool.. I would be glad if he keeps an eye out for Michelle's Cruor Imbibo or Joanne's 'Entity'. As the sun sets here, I am not straying near the hedge!

Mary Andrews said...

His telepathy will surely prove helpful there. I'm not familiar with the Cruor Imbibo. What is it?

Rosalie Skinner said...

A society that feeds on humanity.. by the sounds of things, they don't play well with others. "Driven by their insatiable need to feed, the secret society of Imbibo has devoured the dregs of civilization for centuries."
I don't think they actually have an invitation, but if they do, let's hope Miller Michelle's hero comes too.

Rosalie Skinner said...

Perhaps Ira or Tristan can use mind control to keep them behaving, if they turn up. :)

Wendy said...

Hi Mary, Congratulations on your big day!!! Here is a large crystal glass of your favourite beverage. I see Rosalie and Lisa are looking after you.
The Cruor Imbibo are from Michelle's new novel also released today. They are scary creatures but her Leslee and Miller seem to have them under control.
I hope there are none of your rogue satelites hovering overhead. We should be safe with your nemesis Team to protect us.

Mary Andrews said...

Hmm...I'll have to tell Michelle about the the Hive planet. If Miller can round them up, Rael could probably incarcerate them there but for now, I'd be happy enough not to meet them. (stay away from the fence...stay away from the fence...)

Mary Andrews said...

Oh, I almost forgot, I brought a basket of flavored coffees and enough flash-cups for everyone to have one.

I also brought a big ol' bottle of rum and the makings for white Russians. Where should I set the basket?

Rosalie Skinner said...

Congratulations.. Mary... The third book in the series. It's been a great journey for your Nemesis team. Your imagination is amazing.

Steak? Beef or kangaroo?
Have you found the cider? Or will you have some punch. Beware..it packs one.

Rosalie Skinner said...

Set the basket right over here... Let me see.. Rum or coffee.. hmm. This late in the day...

Wendy said...

Please leave the basket with the big bottle of rum next to Killarney's Byron. He always likes a drink :) thanks for the coffees I'll have one thanks.

Mary Andrews said...

Mmmm...definitely beef. I thought I saw a bull out there on the way in. He doesn't know, right?

Now what to drink...How's the cider, Lisa?

Lisa said...

Wow, hmm this seems like a rather dangerous party... *edges nervously towards the bright, flamey bbq*

Rosalie Skinner said...

Shhh.. yeah Mary, don't let on to Billy that we are eating beef. He's been led to believe cattle are bred for show purposes only.
:) Keeps him happy.

Rosalie Skinner said...

Beyond the hedge... it's not worth the risk.
Leave it to the 'heroes'.

Wendy... are there more lights we can fire up.. it's getting darker by the minute.

Mary Andrews said...

Rosalie, why choose? Put the rum in the coffee and you can drink it hot or cold...see the little switch on the bottom of the cup?

Rosalie Skinner said...

Sweet... so that's what it's for. :)
Talk about instant!! Love it.

Ouch.. that really works fast.

Can I keep this one?

Mary Andrews said...

In fact, I think I'll have some coffee plus myself. Relaxes me.

Thank you, Rosalie for the comments on My Fireborn excerpts at the Muse Blog. I tried to post my appreciation but Blogger hated me that day. I even had to have Lea post it for me.

Rosalie Skinner said...

Can this make ice too?
Oh the fun I could have...just add rum... and wheee....
Iced coffee... hot coffee... iced coffee... hot coffee..
Rum.. in iced coffee, rum in hot coffee...hmm.
hic.

Francene Stanley said...

Congratulations to each of you on your novel release. My special wishes go to Rosalie, who seems to be enjoying herself a little too much. Is all the booze gone?

Mary Andrews said...

Lisa, if you keep close to Michael, I'm sure you'll be fine. He isn't called the prime protector of the universal corporate Overlord for nothing. *grin*

Rosalie Skinner said...

They were great extracts Mary. I enjoyed a glimpse into the prequel and revisiting Resonances..and a look at Revelations. What great characters/idea/universe.

Blogger can be a pain.

Rosalie Skinner said...
This comment has been removed by the author.
Mary Andrews said...

Flash-cups: gotta love 'em.

If Raphael shows, we can get him to fix up any hangovers too. (Psi-healers are really handy like that.)

Thank you for hosting the party Wendy and congratulations to all the new releases. *pours large dose of rum into a cup of chocolate coffee...*

Rosalie Skinner said...

Hi Francene, *staggers*
You should see this fancy cup Mary brought with her.
And try it with coffee or rum... hot... or cold.

Where are my manners... hmm..

see the switch here.. hot... or cold..

The bbq is fired up... Don't go near the hedge...
Hot... cold.. hic.

Did Liliha come with you? Can I have a look at her moonstone ring?

Wendy said...

Kristy tried to enter the gate but blooger has kept her out. She says to say Hi to everyone.

Rosalie Skinner said...

Hi Kristy *Waves* That's not nice. Wish blogger knew how to play well with others.

Unknown said...

Hi everyone congrats on all the great books! Thanks for including mine! xxxx

Rosalie Skinner said...

I might just lie down here for a bit. The ground seems to be undulating.
Something must be wrong with my eyes too.. everything seems to be out of focus.

Unknown said...

Ha third time lucky and Blogger works!!! xxxx

Rosalie Skinner said...

Goodness... Hi Kristy. Congratulations on your release today too! Did you bring Kiera and Prince Zakk?

If royalty is here, we should try to behave.. yeah?

Rosalie Skinner said...

Condolences on the passing of Joe and Daz. Dreadful when you lose great characters. Hope Keira is coping.

Lisa said...

Thanks Mary I'll make sure I keep within Michael's reach..

You staggering already R? Can't take you anywhere.

I would like a special cup please - free of bloogers - of course!

Unknown said...

No hun my little bookie has been put back a few weeks. But yes Zakk is with me always....chatting on and on......! xxx

Mary Andrews said...

Why thanks Rosalie I enjoyed yours too. Did I see Caleath in the garden a minute ago?

Wendy said...

Hey Kristy so glad to see that the sprinkle of faery dust worked wonders to unhinge the gate. So good to see you.

Rosalie, isn't that Kiera and Zakk playing with your wolf. Look out Zakk, phew, he nearly stepped in Chubby bubby Blue's doo.

Why not take a plate od shrimp, lamb chops and kanga bangas with you when you need to go Kristy but first let me toast you and all of our special authors here today. Hip hip Hoorey. My word this is good champagne. Almost as good as German beer!

Rosalie Skinner said...

Oh, Kristy.. so your's is one that was held back. Sorry.. We must celebrate soon then!

Caleath is around. He was chatting with Killarney's Weston... and a few of the romance heroes. I hope he learns a little about romance from them.

Lisa, it was just the rum.. I am *sighs* behaving now.

Unknown said...

Right really have to go...kids parties today and tomorrow (headache tablets at the ready!) Again well done Muse family!xxxxx

Pat McDermott said...

Look at all these great new releases! Mega Congrats, authors! I am Away With the Fairies in Ireland, and they send their congrats too. Too early for bubbly here, but I'll have a wonton, thanks. Got to run and catch the train to Dublin soon. Again, congratulations!

Wendy said...

Love the green hair Lisa or are my eyes playing tricks too!

More Chinese lanterns are swinging in mid air in the middle of the garden - such a pretty sight. I'm off to swing on the vine covered swing. Does anyone have one of those in their books

Pat McDermott said...

And congrats to the pending releases too! Guess I'm one of those :-)

Rosalie Skinner said...

Hi Pat... bye Kristy... glad you could drop in.

Wendy said...

See you Kristy great you made it here

Hi Pat! How lucky are you. In Irekland with the real Irish faeries. I do hope you get to see them. Be careful which hills you linger on. So glad you could pop in when you are so in a hurry to catch your train. That's wonderful. Here's a basket of lamingtons and plum puffs to take on your journey

Mary Andrews said...

Bye, Kristy.

Lisa said...

Wendy your eyes do not deceive.. The cyber cider is enough to turn your hair green!

Wendy said...

lol. Lisa. In that case I'll have some of the cyber cider. Thanks

Pat McDermott said...

Thanks, Wendy! I am staying in a hotel on the hill where the fairies kidnapped Janet. Must be very careful, oh yes. Suspect I'm too far past the "babe" stage for any real concern, but they do like to kidnap ladies to spin their wool. Love the plum puffs!

Wendy said...

Mary, here's some snickerdoodles, not as good as the ones Karen bakes, but okay. I noticed you did some public speaking about writers block. Was that scary?

Wendy said...

Oh Pat! Is that wise? On the exact same hill they kidnapped Janet from. I hope Liam will come to your rescue :)

Pat McDermott said...

Never had lamingtons before. They're awesome! Sounds like a great recipe for my cooking blog, Wendy. What do you think? Yum!

Mary Andrews said...

Suprisingly enough, not at all. What was scary was that this was the first time I'd used a power point. Almost couldn't get it to go but in the end it came through.

The Panhandle Professional Writers were a great audience--a real pleasure to talk to.

Rosalie Skinner said...

Never had a lamington.. there you go. No wonder the fairies aren't happy. Keep them with you.. if you are kidnapped, you can use it as bribery to escape.

Wendy said...

They are yum. squares of sponge cake rolled in cho icing and rolled again in coconut. Maybe you should keep some handy for the faeries - drop the lamingtons behind you as you run away :)

Rosalie Skinner said...

Well done Mary, I guess if you were nervous you could channel one of the psi team. :)

Wendy said...

great minds...Rosalie!
Mary, even if you weren't scared I think you are very brave.

Oh look fire eating dragons are spinning in a circle overhead, aren't they pretty?

Chubby! Come back here. No! you cannot fly with the dragons.

Mary Andrews said...

Faries have a sweet tooth?

Mmm...compliments to the cheff, this steak is great!

Rosalie Skinner said...

Dragons? Hide Billy.. in case they haven't fed!!

Wendy said...

Thank you, my Swiss hero Stefan cooked that. If you enjoyed that Mary, there's some baked snapper on this grill. The Groper from Calamity's Corner cooked it.

Pat McDermott said...

I'm not sharing my lamingtons with the fairies. They can get their own. Um, if you never hear from me again, you'll know I'm under Howth Hill spinning wool... Maybe I should share. Hey, enjoy the party, folks! Happy release day, happy release day!

Wendy said...

Call out the Nemesis Team, my Billy the Bonsai Bull is missing. Help!

Mary Andrews said...

Is it wise to have fire eating dragons near the grill? OH! Did that just divebomb the cook?

Wendy said...

Well, Pat if that happens I'm sure you'll be in your element. Spinning stories as well as wool. Good Luck we look forward to reading your new story too. Congratulations

Rosalie Skinner said...

Perhaps he's had the good sense to hide already.
Try under the hawthorn tree! I didn't see the dragons take him. I will ask Caleath if he can double check.

Wendy said...

Oh No. A dragon ate the Groper. Get the magic water douse the drazon my it spit out my groper. I need him for this months edition. :) Good catch Mary

Rosalie Skinner said...

Let's hope they don't hanker after baby elephant.

That was a close call, Wendy. Did you get a photo before the teeth marks?
